The Furniture By Perry team traveled to Chicago, Illinois this June to browse the MillerKnoll Design Days showcase, and in turn, joined them in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the iconic Womb Chair from Knoll.

Study after study has shown that noisy offices lower productivity. Whether through direct or indirect distractions, many office workers find it hard to stay focused in loud workplaces. The most common sounds that hamper work are colleagues talking to each other and taking calls, and the sounds of eating, singing/humming, and other "bodily noises" follow closely behind. That's why the Furniture by Perry team is knowledgeable in sound dampening and sound masking systems to minimize noise in any area of your workplace!

In December of 2022, Family Promise of Bell County hosted the open house of the Promise House, their new 7,000 sq. ft. facility that more than doubled their serving capacity for parents and children experiencing homelessness. The Perry team was tasked with the Promise House's office seating and dining furniture. We were able suggest affordable options for the nonprofit that still encapsulated the friendly and welcoming environment that the Promise House wanted to portray!

Res-pitality places an emphasis on collaboration by making warm, inviting, and informal spaces to encourage interaction and the sharing of ideas. The goal is to create an environment where employees can be more comfortable, relaxed, and happy, and to bring a homey feel to the workplace. It creates a place that workers want to go to, instead of a place they have to go to.

In November of 2019, the Perry Office Plus Furniture Team began a year-long phased-remodel project of the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) building in Waco, Texas.

Our premiere furniture partner, HON, recently received the exciting news that their Ignition 2.0 Task Chair was the top pick of workplace ergonomic superstars – the “Best Overall Office Chair – by Forbes.com! Citing superior support, effortless adjustability, and exceptional comfort, Forbes sung the praises of HON’s bestselling seating solution.

Perry Office Plus was tapped to design and supply the furniture and furnishings for all three of these organizations, from lobby and reception, to break areas and conference rooms, and all the workspaces in between. The project required coordination between three different organizations and budgets, as well as working around construction schedules, and a wild variety of weather conditions. All three floors of furniture were installed in the fall of 2018.

In the Spring of 2020, Perry Office Plus assisted with product selection, design, space planning, and delivery and installation of a wide array of seating, tables, office furniture, and other furnishings at the newly constructed Lake Belton High School. The areas of focus were collaborative, professional environments for the staff and a variety of multifunctional socialization and study spaces for the students. We were excited to showcase an array of colors and textures to give an open and inviting feel to every room!
